Aberdulais Viaduct - Behind is the Aberdulais Aqueduct carrying the Tenannt Canal (J E Samuel)

The location of a canal aqueduct and a parallel railway viaduct over the river Neath, as well as a terminal for a mineral tramroad.

This was the headquarters of an outstandingly successful company which flourished at the beginning of the 20th century. It was completed in 1900.

In the first half of the 19th century Merthyr and Dowlais were the largest iron making centre in the world.  Cyfarthfa Castle, now a museum, is the centre of the relics.
